Tour Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our friendly staff will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After a brief rest, your cultural journey begins with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, the spiritual heart of Hindu Nepal. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, it’s a sacred site where cremation rituals take place and sadhus offer prayers.
Next, you’ll explore Boudhanath Stupa, Nepal’s most significant Buddhist pilgrimage site. Its massive dome and peaceful ambiance attract devotees from around the world.
After a relaxed breakfast, begin your scenic journey to Pokhara, located 210 kilometers west of Kathmandu. En route, you’ll have the option to visit Manakamana Temple and enjoy a cable car ride offering sweeping views of the Trishuli River valley.
As you approach Pokhara (elevation: 2,352 feet), the majestic peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges rise dramatically just 20 miles away, with no ridges to block the breathtaking panorama.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind for the night in this tranquil lakeside town.
After a hearty breakfast, begin your day with an excursion to Sarangkot, a scenic hilltop village located north of Phewa Lake at an elevation of 1,590 meters. Once part of the historic Kaski Kingdom, Sarangkot is home to one of Pokhara’s oldest temples, dedicated to Goddess Durga, whose idol was brought from India.
Later, visit the spectacular Devi’s Fall (Patale Chango), a powerful waterfall just 2 km southwest of Pokhara. It’s especially impressive during the summer and monsoon seasons, when water crashes dramatically over the rocks.
Nearby, explore the fascinating limestone formations inside Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave—a sacred site where photography is strictly prohibited to preserve its sanctity.
After a day of natural and cultural discovery, return to your hotel for a peaceful overnight stay.
Start your journey today from Sarangkot in the direction of Kathmandu, and then take it easy. You are welcome to spend your own money exploring the city and the areas nearby.
After breakfast, you’ll head out for a guided tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur, the “City of Beauty.” Just across the Bagmati River from Kathmandu, Patan is the valley’s second-largest town and a treasure trove of ancient architecture, intricate courtyards, and artisan heritage.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its historic streets before visiting the Tibetan Refugee Centre, where you can observe traditional carpet weaving and explore handcrafted goods.
The day concludes with a visit to the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, perched atop a hill overlooking the valley—a serene spot where Buddhist symbolism meets panoramic views.
