Believe me, it was the best decision to have Hassan and the agency organise my trip, from planning the route to booking hotels, activities, train and plane from Varanasi to New Delhi.

Instead of losing precious holiday time travelling, trying to book trains etc, Hassan will drive you safely and in great spirit across Radjhastan !

My trip included Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer +desert, Johdpur, Ranakpur, Pushkar and Ajmer, Udaipur, Jaipur Agra and Varanasi.

The advantage of traveling with Hassan is that he has over 20 years experience guiding guests accros Radjhastan.

Hassan always knows the perfect stop on the road for chai tea break, lunch and dinner. Depending on you liking, He will gladly suggest off the beaten track from tourists areas and show you places that reflect the everyday life of people, a true and authentic experience.

A perfect and kind human being that made my solo trip unforgivable. I will not forgive the cooking classes he made and the hours driving.

I will gladly call on his services next time when I plan to travel North to Ladakh in Kashmir.

  Maybe not as it seems  - This is my second review and my honest one. They asked us to write a review before we had even left the driver. So we got talked into booking a... read more tour with this company through our hostel in Delhi, but we did already have an itinerary planned so maybe do avoid if you’ve planned well and are a confident traveller. Whilst it wasn’t a completely bad idea, especially as we are new to travelling, I’m not sure it was worth the money. Our driver was nice and it was a good idea to have a driver in some situations. However the drive between locations was very long (in particular Agra to Pushkar, a place we didn’t plan to go originally but it turned out nice) was 7 hours in the car which is very boring. The place this company booked us to stay in Pushkar was pretty awful, it advertised having a pool but the pool was disgusting so unusable, it also seemed like no one else was staying in this whole place which was odd. We got caught in a few tourist traps, for example we got told Jaipur was good for shopping, but the driver took us to 2 places one after the other where we had to sit and be told how block painting worked (once was enough?) and then relentlessly trying to sell us various items, we weren’t allowed to browse ourselves at all. We are backpackers and didn’t want to spend a lot or carry much more than we already have but they just didn’t give up and it was awkward. I wondered if we were to buy anything our driver would have received commission and this is why it was such a hard sell. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but do be prepared to spend a lot of time on the road and be taken to places that may not be as they seem.

Sounil, or “Sannie” as he calls himself is a good driver where I felt safe in the crazy traffic here. He knew every place we went to visit and can tell you a lot about the Indian culture if you ask him for it. Also he gives you advice on what to look out for in different locations which is helpful. It depends on the type of luxury you want but in general the hotels were nice and clean. Because there is so much to see you will go on a two week rollercoaster where you can experience a great deal of India in a short time. My advice would be to do some more preparation up front then I did so you know what to expect of the places you would like to visit, the culture, getting around and doing what you would love to do. I really got to experience India and it’s magnificent culture, but the animal activities like the camel ride and elephant visit were not my favourite. The tiger safari in Ranthambole was really nice though. It’s good to know the prices of the basic things so you won’t fall for people who see you as a walking wallet.

Sannie was really looking out for me, he actually put me on the train to Varanasi so he was sure I was in the right seat. There was another driver who picked me up with a sign and brought me to the hotel. Here Raj would ask how I was doing and arranged the rest of the transportation back to Delhi. When you are with him you see that he is very invested in all his guests. His phone is in his hand 24/7 to solve the challenges that occur during ones travel. He is fast, gets things done and if there is a problem he will do everything to solve it. When I was with him I saw him rearranging flights that had been cancelled, train rides and helping his guest with scams that they fell for. Also he is a reasonable guy who is open for a conversation. If you have any doubts or if doesn’t feel right. Just do some research, speak out what’s on your mind, and do what makes you happy and feel good!!! He is looking for a win-win situation where you are happy and he is happy. So together you can see how to make it work.

Now I am setting off to the north with a little more peace and quiet to cool down from all the amazing sights Delhi, Rajastan and Varanasi had to offer.

  North India Tour - We visited some amazing citys and sights on our 20 day tour in Rajahstan with our lovely driver Sonu!

It was a great way to explore and discover many beautiful places and we could be flexible and relaxed.
They even booked an overnight train and a flight for us!
Although the trip was not the cheapest option to get around, it makes up for it by the amazing experience we got out of it.
Huge thanks to Zahid at the hostel in Delhi for planning everything with us, we wouldn‘t have been able to do and see so much in just 3 weeks otherwise!

  Taj Mahal Tour - We visited Agra as part of our family holiday from Australia to see the world famous Taj Mahal. We were lucky enough to get a very charismatic and knowledgeable... read more tour guide, Shiva. One of our family members was unwell so before we went to the Taj, we first went to the hospital. Shiva was very helpful translating everything for us so that we understood what the diagnosis was and what the specific medicines prescribed were for.
We arrived at the Taj Mahal and Shiva gave us alot of interesting information on the history of the Taj and surrounding buildings. Shiva is incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Agra and was excited to share the knowledge as we went along. He pointed out the best photo points and also took photos for us so that the whole family was in the photos (very helpful).
When we finished the tour, our family member who was unwell needed to get an IV drip administered at hospital, Shiva was again very helpful in taking us to the hospital and helping translate for us. He even bought me a juice box while I waited with my partner 😊
Overall we had a great tour with Shiva and I would highly recommend his services to anyone wanting to learn about Agra.

When... read more you walk into Hindustan Hostel you will see Raj’s desk. He will be your vacation guide. Not like a spiritual guide but he can find one for sure. He drew a tour map for our 10 day stay in India and it went like the wind. He proposed us an amazingly balanced plan where we saw architectural beauties, took part in cultural activities and even partied with locals. He introduced us to Vinay( Vinnie the Fixer). There are a lot of things that I will miss about India and Vinnie is in the top five. Vinnie was our driver for 10 days. We turned his car into a party bus( thanks again Vinnie). If you need anything Vinnie will fix it. He. Will. Fix. It. He is sometimes a big brother, sometimes a tour guide and sometimes a party animal. If you feel lost or just want to make some changes through the way, they will help you. Our one time experience went smoothly. Im sure you wills too. Adventure awaits!
