I really,... read more really only can recommend to take Ghoki as a driver. He is so nice, speaks very good English, is always on time and knows about all the nice places to go to. The car was very comfortable and clean and Ghoki always provided the best service.
Ask if Ghoki is available, you won't regret it.

With this agency we booked everything, including the driver, all hotels incl. breakfast and trains. Raj (the one who sold the trip) could be always contacted via WhatsApp. Spontaneous changes were no problem. For example we changed to stay one night in Ranakpur instead of two nights Udaipur.
There are many fake tourist agencys around Delhi, so it's hard to figure out were to book your trip. With Raj, booking was easy and we got a great and safe trip for a fair price. The hotels were very good and have always been in a good area.

  Taj Mahal Tour - We visited Agra as part of our family holiday from Australia to see the world famous Taj Mahal. We were lucky enough to get a very charismatic and knowledgeable... read more tour guide, Shiva. One of our family members was unwell so before we went to the Taj, we first went to the hospital. Shiva was very helpful translating everything for us so that we understood what the diagnosis was and what the specific medicines prescribed were for.
We arrived at the Taj Mahal and Shiva gave us alot of interesting information on the history of the Taj and surrounding buildings. Shiva is incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Agra and was excited to share the knowledge as we went along. He pointed out the best photo points and also took photos for us so that the whole family was in the photos (very helpful).
When we finished the tour, our family member who was unwell needed to get an IV drip administered at hospital, Shiva was again very helpful in taking us to the hospital and helping translate for us. He even bought me a juice box while I waited with my partner 😊
Overall we had a great tour with Shiva and I would highly recommend his services to anyone wanting to learn about Agra.

We... read more always had really nice driver - we loved especially the two Sanjays (drivers) who were always kind and funny, explained everything and let us decide where to go when. We always felt safe with the driver and also learnt many things from him. Having a car is definitely the best way to discover India as it’s the most comfortable, safe and adventurous way, so that I recommend you to book yourself a driver.
The hostels and also the train to and from Varanasi (worse than European trains but still absolutely fine) were booked for us so that we didn’t have to book anything.
If you ask for a student discount you will also get a better price :).
