Until Agra we went by car with Sanjay, our driver, who we were very happy with! He showed us many nice places and always made us feel safe. Roadtrips are definitely the best way to get an authentic idea of the Indian land and culture! I recommend to inform yourself about the country in order to get the most out of your trip. The hotels are of course different than in our home Germany, but all in all okay. Especially the staff was really nice like all the Indians we met. I take many great experiences from this trip and am happy i came here!

On our trip almost everything was perfect and planned to minor details. But have tell the best thing was our driver. I don't have enough words to describe him. Vinay or like his friends like to call him "The Fixer" is a great, honest and a wonderful person. Even simplest conversations was fun and full of wisdom. If you are with him you will be in good hands, take all of his advises and ask for him to cook for you delicious home cook meals.
