Tour Itinerary
Leh Ladakh is the dream trip for every aspirant biker. Why not, too? You will enjoy the scenery as
it passes beautiful deep blue lakes, rocky outcroppings, vivid green mountains, snow-capped
mountains, and cascading waterfalls. During a Leh Ladakh bike tour, go across some of the
greatest passes in the world, reaching an elevation of 18,380 feet. Interesting, huh?
June to September is the best season for a bike trip to Ladakh. Riders can enjoy Ladakh’s tourist
routes during these months just as much as their tour to Lahaul and Spiti. Yet, most riders enjoy
beginning their new year with this wild bike adventure because Ladakh offers stunning panoramas
that can be enjoyed all year round except for the rainy season
An optimum length for a Leh Ladakh bike tour would be at least 15 days, depending on variables
like the route you’ve travelled, your complete itinerary, and especially the weather. Also, this time
frame is appropriate if one rides from Delhi via Manali to Leh.
Two ways to complete the captivating Ladakh bike trip are the Manali-Leh Highway or the
Srinagar-Leh Highway.
The Manali-Leh highway is the more popular of the two routes for bicyclists because it features
several breathtaking mountain passes and rushing rivers.
The Manali-Leh route is open to travellers from May to September, with June and July being the
best months to organise a car trip. Hotels are open for business, and the roads are improved for
driving. Around May or the first part of June, those who want to visit Ladakh typically choose to fly
to Leh. September is also a good month for road trips because the roads are in better condition,
and there are far fewer people and automobiles on the road.
The Srinagar-Leh roadway is similarly gorgeous while being less popular. The Srinagar-Leh trip
covers 418 kilometres and 10 hours. Compared to the Manali-Leh route, this route has a variety of
lodging alternatives and opportunities for gasoline refuelling. Sonmarg and a few monasteries are
some of the route’s main sights.
From May through October, the highway is open. The greatest period, though, is between June
and early July when the roads are suitable for a road trip. In addition, September is the ideal
month for a bike tour from Srinagar to Ladakh because there are fewer rivers and landslides to
worry about along the way.
It is a strong bike with an engine of 350 CC and 500 CC that is sufficient to be a
savior on a Leh Ladakh bullet trip and is thought to be the ideal bike for a vacation to Leh Ladakh.
The 400 CC engine of the Royal Enfield Himalayan will ensure a
pleasant ride on any difficult terrain and unusual highways.
The most well-liked motorcycle on the Indian industry is the Bajaj Pulsar. Pulsar is
the most well-known motorcycle after Bullets.It comes in 150CC, 200CC, and 220CC variations;
either can be your dependable travel companion.
On roads like those in Ladakh, having a light bike can be helpful. Thanks to several
new engine options for the Duke 390 and Duke 250, KTM can also be a good choice for a bike trip
to Ladakh.
