At times the hotels could be nicer but our driver Sanjay was perfect. Always making sure we were happy and showing us the best spots in every city. He was also a very safe driver on the crazy roads of India and we all trusted him fully.

Afterwards Pramod showed us some of Agra and took us with a smooth ride back to Delhi.

Raj helped us plan out which cities in Rajastan we should visit, and we were very happy with the route we chose.

However, we feel that the urgency that was pushed on us in New Delhi for booking trains/busses "because they book up so quick, and we won't be able to get one if we don't book now" was way over exaggerated. This caused us to feel a need for urgency and book all our trains/busses from New Delhi until Kochi that was way overpriced than if we booked this ourselves. The extra services fees should not be applicable at all on the offers!

If you are a backbacker on a budget we DO NOT advice booking a lot transport in advance with this company. You can always find 'emergency train tickets' and busses can be booked from day to day through travel companies which charge only 50-150 rupies per person to book.

However, the trip itself was really good. Our driver Kool was a great driver, always with a smile and fun attitude. We appreciated the days with him.

So we got talked into booking a... read more tour with this company through our hostel in Delhi, but we did already have an itinerary planned so maybe do avoid if you’ve planned well and are a confident traveller. Whilst it wasn’t a completely bad idea, especially as we are new to travelling, I’m not sure it was worth the money. Our driver was nice and it was a good idea to have a driver in some situations. However the drive between locations was very long (in particular Agra to Pushkar, a place we didn’t plan to go originally but it turned out nice) was 7 hours in the car which is very boring. The place this company booked us to stay in Pushkar was pretty awful, it advertised having a pool but the pool was disgusting so unusable, it also seemed like no one else was staying in this whole place which was odd. We got caught in a few tourist traps, for example we got told Jaipur was good for shopping, but the driver took us to 2 places one after the other where we had to sit and be told how block painting worked (once was enough?) and then relentlessly trying to sell us various items, we weren’t allowed to browse ourselves at all. We are backpackers and didn’t want to spend a lot or carry much more than we already have but they just didn’t give up and it was awkward. I wondered if we were to buy anything our driver would have received commission and this is why it was such a hard sell. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but do be prepared to spend a lot of time on the road and be taken to places that may not be as they seem.
